The Clock is Ticking for the King George VI Chase

You may fancy trying to bag a slightly late Christmas present this year from the bookies, by taking a look over the current ante post betting markets that are now live at most betting sites on the King George VI Stake race that is being run on Boxing Day this year.

You will of course need to pick out the horse you hope will win that race and then it will of course have to win if you are to get that late Christmas present, but with the current favourite being Might Bite and as Betfred for example are going 5/2 on it winning, those generous odds really are there for the taking!

As for which other horses have a better chance of winning than the others, I would consider a conservative bet on the likes of Waiting Patiently at 6/1, for there is no doubt in my mind that horse has a great chance of winning this race this year and may just do so!

The form figures for each of the horses that are taking place in this year’s King George VI Stakes will give you an overview of what realistic chance each of them have of winning, and there is nothing wrong with the form of the third favourite who may just get up and win and that horse is Presenting Percy at 8/1.

Three Places Paid on Each-Way King George VI Chase Bets

It’s up to you whether you bet any horses in this race each-way or back them to win, however as the race itself is far into the future and several months away there is certainly plenty of value to be had by taking the odds on some horses and backing them each-way.

With three places being paid at a quarter of the odds at Betfred each of the 10/1 shots are worth checking out and they include Balko Des Flos, Footpad align with Douvan and there is also a chance that Altior could sneak into a place too at 12/1!

Bigger Odds Better Value

There are still several horses that you may fancy to win the King George VI Chase this year, and if I haven’t yet mentioned the horse you do fancy betting on, then it is going to be available at Betfred at some big odds.

Take for example Road to Respect, Monalee and Top Notch if you decide to back them right now BetFred are going to be giving you odds of 16/1 and you can also bag 20/1 on the likes of Sizing John and Killultagh Vic too.

There are several 25/1 shots, none of which are fancied to win of course and those horses are Un De Sceaux, Disko, Terrefort, Coney Island, Thistlecrack and Bristol De Mai at 25/1, You could choose to back Whisper, Black Corton, Willoughby Court or Clan Des Obeaux all of which are on offer at 33/1 and the rest of the field are 40/1!
