The Matchbook Handicap Chase is another of the major races that are being held over at the Cheltenham racecourse this Saturday afternoon, and there is plenty of money sloshing around the betting markets for several of the runners in that race.
So without further ado allow me to rattle through the odds that are currently up for grabs at betting sites such as Paddy Power, if you fancy taking advantage of the higher than average ante post betting odds.
Keep in mind too that Paddy Power are always famed for their each-way terms just as much as they are for their outright winner betting odds too, and as such by placing an each-way at Paddy Power on the Matchbook Handicap Chase race you will get paid out to four positions and at a quarter of the win odds too.
However, as for where the smart money is currently going on that race, well it would appear that it is going on Singlefarmpayment, so much so that the voile of cash has forced Paddy Power to ever so slightly slash the odds down to 6/1, but they are still the best odds in the industry on that horse by the way!
For Good Measure is the Second Favourite
There is of course a second favourite and that is For Good Measure who is chalked up at odds of 13/2 at Paddy Power on their ante post betting market which does of course mean if punters continue to back that particular horse it may end going off as the favourite.
As for the third favourite to win, well that is Laurium and whether that horse really does have what it takes to win a race of this nature does remain to be seen, but some punters must be backing it as its odds are now down to just 9/1, which means it is on offer at the same odds as Minella Rocco a Shantou Village
It will probably be some of the horses on which you are going to find some much bigger odds that you may be tempted to back each-way in the race, especially as Paddy Power are offering four places and with that in mind one horse that could be worth an each-way punt is Braqueur Dor that has been backed down from 16/1to 10/1 so there is a fair deal in confidence surrounding that horse for sure.
Cogry is another 10/1 shot, but one horse that I do think could just manage to scrape into a one of the top four positions if everything falls its way is Relentless Dreamer and at 12/1 there is some value waiting to be secured if you do take those odds!
Other horses worth a much closer inspection include the likes of Above Board, Baden and Doing Fine who are all trading at the 14/1 mark and there is also the chance that Pickamix could also play a part in this race in the finishes stages too and that horse is also on offer at Paddy Power at odds of 14/1!
