If you enjoy watching golf tournaments, then over the last year you will probably have seen plenty of them being played out on TV, or if you are lucky you may have been able to attend one of the many major golf tournaments held across the world.
The next one on the calendar is starting today and will be in play through to the 21st of this month, and that is of course the Dominion Energy Charity Classic golf tournament, which is being held over at the impressive Country Club of Virginia golf course on their James River course, which for the record is a very challenging one at the best of times!
This golf tournament is not by any stretch of the imagination a long established one, for it was only founded back in 2016, but being a PGA Tour Champions golf tournament it is one that does attract some very well known golfers, much more so as the prize purse is valued at a huge $2million!
If you are interested in placing a bet on any of the golfers taking part in this golf tournament then please do read on for below I will give you an insight into just which players are in with a good chance of winning it, and the odds I will be quoting are currently on offer on the early betting market over at the William Hill betting site.
Back the Favourites to Win
You will often find the favourites do well in many golf tournaments and as such if you do fancy placing your hard earned money on the favorites to win this year’s Dominion Energy Charity Classic then you need to back Bernhard Langer who is 9/2.
There is though the very real chance that the second or even third favorite could win this major golf tournament this year and those two golfers are currently Miguel Angel Jimenez whose win odds are 7/1 along with Jerry Kelly whose win odds for reference over at the William Hill betting site are 10/1.
Outsiders to Win the Dominion Energy Charity Classic
It will be up to you however who you do back to win this golf tournament and you are also going to be able to back any golfer’s each-way too and if that is something you do fancy doing then consider placing a bet on Scott McCarron Scott Parel 16/1.
As for the terms of the each-way betting opportunities over at the William Hill betting site, you will find they are paying out at one quarter of the win odds on the very first five placed finishers in this tournament which could mean that David Toms, Joe Durant, Kevin Sutherland and Tom Gillis at on offer at odds of 20/1 could be worth backing.
There are also some very generous odds currently chalked up alongside the names of Bob Estes and Kenny Perry at William Hill and those odds are 22/1 and two other golfers to also consider backing each-way include Brandt Jobe and Vijay Singh at 25/1!
